About Company

How two friends, one island, and a shared belief in doing things properly ended up here.

We believe in the French idea of bien fait; done well, or not at all.

Every product in our range is selected with what we like to call une obsession raisonnable a reasonable obsession. We visit the gardens, we know the growers, we taste everything. Several times. Enthusiastically. And when something doesn't quite meet the Ceywoods standard, back it goes.

This is not mass production. This is small-batch, hands-on, no-shortcuts artisanship the kind that takes longer, costs more, and makes an extraordinary difference in the cup, the dish, and the dinner table.

Tea Blends 🍃

L'Art du Thé Exceptionally sourced single-origin leaves, blended with the kind of attention your morning truly deserves. From smoky breakfast notes to floral afternoon sippers, each blend is a small ceremony in a cup.

Spices 🌶️

Les Épices de Ceylan Turmeric that actually glows. Pepper that bites back. Cardamom so fragrant it's practically a love letter. Our spices are whole, hand-selected, and bursting with the sort of terroir that a supermarket sachet simply cannot fake.

Cinnamon ✨

Le Roi des Épices This is Ceylon cinnamon — the real one, the true one, the finest in the world. Ours is harvested, dried, and rolled with a delicacy that borders on art. Once you've had it, the impostor in your cupboard won't stand a chance.

Little bit about us

The Story Behind Ceywoods

Some ventures begin with a business plan. Ours began with a cup of tea at a software development company, a view of Colombo’s shiny skyline, and one of us saying rather too enthusiastically; “Why doesn’t anyone make this properly?”

That was the question. Ceywoods became the answer.

We are two friends one who grew up in surrounded by the most extraordinary mountain range, Sri Lanka’s Central Province, where the air smells of cinnamon, the hills are carpeted in tea, and other one grew up in coastal area of Sri Lanka where eternal summer, sun kissed sea shores and  the spice and tea fields have been the envy of visiting traders for centuries. It seemed, frankly, criminal not to do something magnificent with it.

Ceylon; the old, romantic name for this isle, gave us the soul of the name. Woods because the forests, the highlands, and the wild green terroir of Sri Lanka are where everything we make begins.

Together: Ceywoods. A name that whispers of misty mornings, ancient spice routes, and a cup of something rather lovely.

Amazing Tea Products
I used to think all tea tasted the same until Ceywoods danced into my life. The Royal Earl’s Secret is an absolute triumph! It has a certain je ne sais quoi that makes my afternoon routine feel like a royal affair. The packaging alone deserves a permanent display on my counter. Splendid!

Gratitude for Producing Delicious Tea
I ordered the Spice Symphony box to Melbourne, and it arrived beautifully. The freshness is intoxicating—the moment you open the pouch, the aromas take you straight to the sun-drenched hills of Sri Lanka. It is playful, elegant, and entirely premium. I am completely hooked.

Wonderful Taste & Perfect Quality Tea
Being a pastry chef in Paris, I am incredibly fussy about my ingredients. The cheap supermarket Cassia is an insult to the palate. But the True Ceylon Cinnamon from Ceywoods? Magnifique! It is delicate, sweet, and complex. My apple tarts have never been so fiercely complimented. You can taste the love of the two friends who started it.
